Tell us what's going on up there

Our first job is keeping water out of your house. Our second job is giving you an honest record of what happened to the roof so you can decide what to do next.

Typical price in Savannah: $350–$1,200 for tarping

Emergency dry-in varies with roof size and access. Permanent storm repairs are priced after inspection.

How we handle storm & wind damage roof repair

Storm damage is not always obvious from the ground. Wind creases a shingle tab backward and breaks the seal without tearing it off. Hail crushes the mat under the granules and leaves a soft spot that looks like nothing until it starts shedding.

We start on the ground — gutters, downspouts, screens, AC fins and fences tell us which way the storm came from. Then we walk each slope, check the soft metals and every penetration, and photograph what we find with the date on it.

If you have an open roof we dry it in first. If you decide to file a claim, our photos and a line-item scope are yours to use, and we can be on the roof when the adjuster comes. If the damage is small, we'll tell you so and quote the repair.

Storm & Wind Damage Roof Repair in Savannah

Storm Season on the Georgia Coast

NOAA's Storm Events Database lists tropical storm, hurricane or storm-surge entries covering Chatham County on 16 days from 2010 through 2025, mostly in September and October. Summer thunderstorms add hundreds of wind reports on top of that, peaking in June and July.

Wind damage here is mostly lifted and creased shingles, torn ridge caps and peeled-back drip edge on the windward side. Hail is less common than inland, but it does happen — the largest hail recorded in the county in that period was two inches.

After a named storm, out-of-town crews arrive fast. Take your time, get a real inspection and make sure whoever you hire can be reached after the job is done.

Where we do this work

From your call to a dry roof

  1. Call or send the form.

Tell us what's going on and what part of Savannah you're in. If it's urgent — an active ceiling leak, hail damage from last night, or blown-off ridge caps — say so and we'll move it to the front of the schedule.

  2. We come take a look.

Someone from our crew walks the roof in person, checks the valleys, pipe boots, flashing, and decking, takes photos of what we find, and answers your questions on the spot.

  3. You get a clear price before any work starts.

Written scope, plain numbers, no pressure. We tell you straight when a simple repair is enough, and you decide if and when to move forward.

What you can count on

  • Call or send a request and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
  • We look at the roof in person and show you photos before quoting a real number.
  • We tell you when a repair is enough instead of pushing a full roof replacement.
  • We protect your yard, AC condenser, driveway, and flowerbeds while we work.
  • We haul off every scrap of old shingle and run magnetic nail sweeps before we call the job done.

Our word on every job

Your roof is only as good as the crew that puts it on and the underlayment and flashing underneath.

We do the job the way the manufacturer specs and local wind and hail codes say it should be done, and we clean up the yard before we leave.

If something doesn't look right when we're done, walk it with us before we pack up the truck.

Questions we get a lot

Should I file an insurance claim for wind damage?

That depends on how much damage there is and your deductible. We'll show you what we found and give you a repair price. If it's less than your deductible, you probably don't need a claim.

Can you meet my insurance adjuster?

Yes. We can be on the roof with the adjuster and walk them through our photos. The coverage decision is your insurer's.

How fast can you tarp my roof after a storm?

Call (912) 483-1213 and leave the address and what you're seeing. Active leaks go to the front of the line.

Seeing a stain or a lifted shingle?

Call or send the form. We'll look at it in person and give you a written price before any work starts.
